Part time Receptionist

Our patient-centered sports chiropractic clinic is growing and I need help reaching the next level. That’s where you come in: I’m looking for an exceptional Front Desk/ Customer Service Specialist with a positive attitude and adept office skills.

Job description:
Manage the office so the doctors can focus on providing top-level patient care
Provide extraordinary Customer Service

Strong communication skills

Adept Office Skills:
Organized: smoothly runs systems and improves those systems.
A quick study.
Prompt:
cannot be late on tasks or to work whether or not I am in the office
Smooth time management
must be able to manage assignments of various priority and duration.
must multitask, balancing relationships with patients in the waiting room while handling the rest of the day’s tasks.

Computer savvy:
Solve computer issues with tech support as we are a digital office (electronic health records, internet phone, online scheduling, etc)
Proficient on Apple computers and in patient management software, Excel, Quickbooks, word processing, and presentation software. (If you can handle most of these, I can teach you the practice management software and Quickbooks).
Efficient typing skills
Competent basic (google, yelp, amazon) internet research skills
Polite and efficient emailer (who can handle attachments and encryption to accord with HIPAA requirements).
Cultivate professional relationships with patients and vendors
effective communication via phone, email, and in person

Assist with financial records, including but not limited to:
managing accounting practices,
creating reports,
Work independently:
individuals who need to be micromanaged need not apply.
Transport/move material, on occasion, of up to thirty pounds for example, boxes of documents or supplements or A/V equipment.

Located one block from Embaradero Bart/Muni so easy to commute.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly based on experience ($18-26/hour start)
Starting with Mondays only, but room to grow
401k retirement with 4% Matching after 1st year
Chiropractic care from practice doctor, if desired
Ergonomic sit/stand station.
