Stakeholder Engagement Specialist

Summary
This position is located in the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB), Office of Trade and Labor Affairs (OTLA), in Washington DC. 

- This position is located inside the bargaining unit.

Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:

Serving as an authoritative expert and advisor to OTLA leadership on stakeholder engagement.
Developing and implementing a comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategy, with a focus on the private sector, to help achieve Department, Agency, and OTLA mission and priorities.
Conducting relevant in-depth research and analyses to develop and implement the strategy.
Working across divisions and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement the strategy.
Developing materials needed to support the stakeholder engagement strategy.
Training and supporting others to develop and implement the strategy.
Travel Required
Occasional travel - Some domestic and international travel may be required 5% of the time

Qualifications

Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-13, in the Federal Service. 

Specialized experience is defined as experience in developing stakeholder engagement strategies and plans, and assisting companies develop or implement policies or procedures to promote international labor standards in supply chains.
