Fort Collins Rescue Mission Internship

Provide support for men experiencing homelessness who utilize our services. This includes oversight of operations and interaction with guests with the goal of meeting immediate and long-term needs. This role provides high interaction with shelter guests and exposure to emergency services, as well as an introduction to non-profit work, general shelter operations, and basic case management for men experiencing homelessness.

Denver Rescue Mission is a registered 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit organization. Full-time and part-time internships are available. For full-time status, we offer a monthly stipend of $400 plus for every 160 hours served, we will pay $250 towards tuition remuneration.

The ideal candidate must be available to work evenings and/or weekends and will thrive in a fast-paced, chaotic environment. The ability to actively listen, problem-solve, and multi-task is important. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
