We are a multi-faceted agency that manages and protects 154 national forests and 20 grasslands in 43 states and Puerto Rico. Our mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the nation’s forests and grasslands to meet the needs of present and future generations. As such we are looking for candidates to work seasonal positions in all fields such as firefighting, fuels, recreation, trails, wilderness, weed, range, wildlife, fisheries, archeology, engineering, and more. We are also hiring young technicians and professionals to fill roles in our agency in these fields listed above as well as in budget, finance, contracting, human resources, civil rights, and more.
